TIG Welding Lathe With 6 Jaw Chuck & Compact Torch Stand

The Process Welding Systems’ special lathe is used for welding components that are used for radiation detection in oil production equipment. The compact lathe design is for use in a glove dry box.

The welding equipment used is a Miller Maxstar 200LX with a Weldcraft WP-50 small TIG torch with 50 amps maximum current. Head is only 5/8″ in diameter.

The SCS-102 solid state motor speed control provides speeds from 0.5 rpm to 25 rpm. The control has a forward and reverse function and automatic and manual modes.
