The HSEC 150 and HSEC 300 Plasma Welding torches are water cooled machine torch for use in the DC straight polarity mode at 150 amps and 300 amp respectively. A hermetic sealed design eliminate the use of “O” rings in the torch body that could result in gas and water leaks. A self-centering electrode minimizes set up time while easy, repeatable electrode depth setting is accomplished with an electrode set gauge.

150 Amps DC straight polarity mode.
Torch current rating varies based on cooler capacity, electrode set back and orifice diameter.

TUNGSTEN ELECTRODE

2.4 mm (3/32” dia) x 3” long, Multi-Strike with 20 degree inclusive angle.

COOLING

Torch to be used with a closed loop heat exchanger type coolant recirculator. Minimum cooling capacity: 15,000 BTU/hr at 1.3 qt./min (1.25L/min.) Must use distilled water or Thermal Coolant which is 75% water and 25% ethylene glycol.

300 Amps DC straight polarity mode. Torch current rating varies based on cooler capacity, electrode set back and orifice diameter.

TUNGSTEN ELECTRODE

3.2 mm (1/8” dia) 23/4” long, Multi-Strike with 30 degree inclusive angle.

COOLING

Torch to be used with a closed loop heat exchanger type coolant recirculator.

(Thermal HE-100A or equivalent with minimum rating: 2.3 gpm @ 100 psi. 20,000 BTU/hr maximum rating based on 100 degrees F difference between ambient air and high coolant temperature and 49 degrees F difference between high and low coolant temperature) Must use distilled water or Thermal Coolant which is 75% water and 25% ethylene glycol.
